Gratitude Junk Journal Day 28

 Hi Everyone!

Here's another gratitude junk journal page. The theme was gratitude for our strengths. I didn't list any out, but like everyone, I had to call upon a few of my strengths in the past week. One of them was telling our children that we had decided we couldn't see them at Christmas. Our daughter had suggested a meet up somewhere convenient for us all, for a walk. We'll do a family video call instead, from the comfort of our homes. Fortunately our children can spend Christmas together, so none of us will be alone.

I'm linking up to Tracey's 'The Meaning Of' theme at Art Journal Journey.

Keep safe and well,

  2. I love your flowers, Alison. They are lovely and really speak of gratitude.

It's too bad you can't meet your family at Christmas, but enjoying zoom time can be almost as fun and much safer. Thanks for sharing this incredible journal page with us at Art Journal Journey using Tracey's theme.

  3. Oh that has to be tough not seeing your children for Christmas, but also smart and safe. Your page is so happy and full of joy, and that is gratitude for sure. Thanks for linking up to Art Journal Journey and Tracey's challenge. Hugs-Erika

  6. Having strength is such a powerful thing Alison and I feel so much of what you are saying because we also have made the decision that we will not be doing the big family gathering this year, it's all on hold until better times. Your flowers are beautiful blooms a sign of happier times when we can be safe with our nearest and dearest. Thank you for sharing Alison stay forever strong Hugs Tracey xx

  7. It's the same here Alison, my son that we usually spend Christmas day with rang to say that his school had decided to shut two days early but as his daughter goes to stay with her Mum and has a boyfriend she is still seeing, I had to still say that we weren't going to go! We did have high hopes of meeting for a walk but as restrictions are it's not going to be possible . With the vaccine on the horizon I really don't want to get COVD now.
Your page although bright and cheerful made me feel sad to read the reasoning behind it!
We'll have a lot to look back on next year!Take care, hugs, Chrisxx

  8. Better to be safe! I admire your strength in that decision. With the crazy numbers it is wise. Video meetings can be fun too. I hope yours are!!!!

Your page is happy and fun and super well done. I know you weren't feeling happy inside when you were doing it. Visioning our happiness can work well too. Gratitude is the ladder to joy. Many hugz!!!!

  9. Beautiful meaningful page, Alison. I'm sure that was a tough decision to make. May your strengths hold up through this very strange Christmas.

Art and my online friends are a vert special blessing this year. Hugs, Eileen
