Memories From Boxing Day 2018

Hi Everyone!

Here's another art journal spread for Elizabeth's 'Tis The Season Challenge at Art Journal Journey, featuring my Boxing Day memories this time.

The left-hand page was a gelli plate print, so I drew some baubles, then painted with Pine Grove PaperArtsy Fresco acrylic around them. I outlined the baubles with black paint pen and Stickles glitter glue.

The other page has teabags, scrapes of the green acrylic, red stencilling, Stickles crosses and my memories.

Hope you're having a lovely, creative day,

365 Somethings Teabag Art - Week 49

Hi Everyone!

Here are my seven arty teabags for week 49 of IHanna's 365 Somethings Challenge.

I went back to my favourite little collage technique of stapling some scraps to the teabags. The stars were punched from Gelli Plate prints, and I added a glitter glue outline to them.

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

The Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas 2017 - Week Eleven

Hi Everyone!

Here's another Christmas card! This one was inspired by the colours and ribbons on Linda's Week 11 Tag.

I've used Distress Inks and Frantage EP again, with a bit of Stickles glitter glue thrown in. I used a Wendy Vecchi stamp to make my red 'ribbon'. The sentiment stamp is by Crafty Individuals, and the holly is by Tim Holtz.

It doesn't want to get light here today, so the photos aren't that great unfortunately. Hopefully you can see a bit of the sparkle.

The challenge is sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique, with voucher prizes to be won.

Have a fab Wednesday, I'm off for a coffee and catch-up with some friends :-)

The Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas - Week Four

Hello Everyone!

I'm back today with my card inspired by Linda's week four tag for The Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas challenge. I was inspired by Linda's colours and techniques.

I've used Seth Apter PaperArtsy stamps for the dots, Crafty Individuals stamps for the script, and all other stamps are from Artemio. I also used Evergreen Bough & Vintage Photo Distress Inks, Frantage Shabby White EP, and Candy Red Stickles.

The challenge is sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique, and there are prizes to be won.

Thanks for joining me today,

December 2017 Art Journal Calendar

Hello Everyone!

I finally found time to create my December calendar page, only a couple of days late, so hopefully I'll remember what I did yesterday!

As it's getting near to Christmas, I added a bit of sparkle with Stickles glitter glue. I also used some iridescent Pebeo paint and metallic silver DecoArt paint for a bit of shimmer. My snowy journaling splats were made with an Artistic Stamper stencil and Snowflake Fresco paint.

I'm celebrating the Christmassy sparkle and entering my pages in Sheila's challenge over at Art Journal Journey.
