ICAD Week 6

 Hi Everyone.

I have my week 6 ICADs to share with you today.

Day 36 - Imaginary.

Day 37 - Metallic. I used shimmery and gold watercolour paints.

Day 38 - Zodiac. I'm not into zodiacs, but gave it a go. They're not quite twins, but close enough :-)

Day 39 - Levels.

Day 40 - Chandelier. I used some transfers for this.

Day 41 - Float or Buoy. Really pleased how my watercolour painting turned out. Forgot to add a shadow, but maybe it's behind :D

Day 42 - Trivia. Newspaper crosswords came in handy for this one.

Do you have a favourite?

100 Days of Watercolour - Days 87-93

 Hello All.

May is a crazy month here, so many birthdays! My husband turned 60 today. He's working from home, but we'll cook a special dinner tonight. This weekend we are hosting our families for a joint celebration, as it's my 60th next week.

I'm just about finding time for my 100 days of watercolour for The 100 Day Project.

Here are some more birds.

100 Days of Watercolour - 73-79

 Hello All.

It's been our May Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK today. We went for a lovely afternoon walk with our friends and their little spaniel, to see the bluebells in our local woods. They are at their peak now, and simply stunning carpets of blue. As usual, I forgot to take any photos!

I have another week of watercolour art to share with you today, for The 100 Day Project.

Day 73 - I used a PaperArtsy stencil on this one, with some gold watercolour dots.

Day 74 - I love the earthy colours and simple botanical doodle on this one.

Day 75 - Another favourite.

Day 76 - The first of a few butterflies. I wish you could see the shimmer on these.

Thanks for all your lovely comments, and for coming to visit me today.

100 Days of Watercolour - 59-65

Hello All.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. Ours was very quiet, but we had some beautiful Spring weather and enjoyed a few lovely long walks.

Here are another seven of my little 10x10cm watercolour paintings for The 100 Day Project.

Day 65 - The first of a new series with botanical elements. I sprinkled some salt on this one, then waited until it was dry before brushing it off and painting the leaf.

Thanks for coming to see my art today.

100 Days of Watercolour - 52-58

 Hello All.

I hope you're all well. It's been a good day here, apart from getting a crown fitted at the dentist this afternoon. But that doesn't feel too bad now. It was just a case of taking the temporary one off, then fitting the permanent one. It took a bit of adjustment though, as it was slightly too big.

This morning was great though, I got my usual Monday doggy fix, walking with my friend and her sweet poodle. We always have coffee and cake at the cafe too, and Pascal gets his doggy sausage.

Here are my latest week's watercolour art, more abstract pieces.

Day 52 - I've made this one into an Easter card.

Day 53 - This one is an Easter card too.

Day 54 - This one has a lovely shimmer, and the circles have glitter in the watercolour paint.

Day 55

Day 56

Day 57

Day 58 - I couldn't resist using that gold watercolour again. Sadly, it's not a great photo. I love those colours!

I used Little Rainbow Moon watercolours for days 52-57, and Arteza watercolours for day 58. The gold is from a set of metallics and interference watercolours by Imagination Crafts.

Thanks for dropping by my blog today,

Alison
