Christmas Cards

 Hello All.

I made a start on some Christmas cards this week.

I used some Elusive Images stamps for these two. These are old stamp sets that are no longer available unfortunately.

I used Distress Inks to make the backgrounds and to colour the images.

Every year my church ask me to come up with a design for the Christmas card they distribute locally with the Christmas services printed inside.

Here's the angel design I painted for this year's card.

Thanks for visiting,

365 Somethings Days 300-307

 Hello Friends.

I've been catching up with my 365 Somethings in between trying to get some Christmas cards made. I'm struggling to keep up this year, but I'm just about managing it. I have regular hospital appointments for my autoimmune hepatitis, and had to go into hospital this week for a gastroscopy op, which didn't help matters, but mainly it's the fact that I like to go walking most days, which makes me a bit weary but I really enjoy.

Anyway, back to my Somethings. Here are two sets of mini collages for days 300-307.

Days 300-303

Days 304-307

I'll be back tomorrow with another two sets of collages.

Thanks so much for visiting.

November Art Journal Calendar

Hello All.

I have my November art journal calendar to share with you today. I'm linking it to Jo's Nature theme at Art Journal Journey

I started with a layer of collage, then brayered on a light layer of Pumpkin Soup Fresco acrylic. I added some random stamping with a script stamp, and a leaf stamp around the edges, and glued some robin patterned paper tissue on the bottom of each page.

I stenciled leaves for journaling, and my title, and added white gel pen outlines and numbers.

I finished with a dotty outline and some white acrylic splashes, using a white Posca paint pen.

Here's my completed October spread.

Thanks for dropping by,

Alison
