Kasia's final prompt on her Advent Calendar Challenge was to make a resolution for the next seven days. I've decided to fill up this little Advent journal with a page a day until it's full. There are seven pages left fortunately :-)
This is Day 14's page. I let myself go. I've really enjoyed using this limited colour palette. Now I'm ready to try some different colours.
I'm linking up to Tracey's The Meaning Of theme at Art Journal Journey.
Thanks so much for visiting me today,

All the blues are gorgeous here, and the sketchy diagonal leaf spray is just right. I really like this page a lot.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous page Alison, love those colours together. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteOh I love all of the blue Alison, gorgeous page!

I also LOVE your limited color palette. I could view these colors all day long and not get tired of seeing them. This is a beautiful journal page, and I like your resolution, too. Thanks for also sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Tracey's theme.
ReplyDeleteThis page makes me think of the beach for some reason. I think it is the light blue on the dark that makes me think of water. Beautiful work. I can't wait to see the color change up. Thanks for joining us at AJJ again. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI love your page.
ReplyDeleteSuch happy serendipity that you had 7 pages left and it's a fun resolution, I'm looking forward to seeing all your pages! The limited colour palette worked our beautifully and your design looks so elegant 😁. Wishing you a safe and happy Christmas filled with joy, peace and love! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteYou know blue is not my favorite color. However, this is such a rich piece of art. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteYou just have to continue it Alison and then do it all over again with a new colour combo. Every page you have shared I have felt the love you put in and got out of Kasia's Advent.. well done my friend. Hugs Tracey xx
