Peace, Love & Joy

Hello dear blog friends! It's that strange time between Christmas and New Year. My husband doesn't go back to work until next week, although that only means he spends the day in his home 'office' now. There is constant noise as he likes to listen to the radio. I'm going to escape to my craft room where I can have some peace, and do what I love, and what brings me joy. Peace, love and joy has a different meaning today 😁

Here's another page for Tracey's The Meaning Of theme at Art Journal Journey. This page is the final one in my Advent art journal. It's full from cover to cover now.

Wishing you all a happy and creative day,

Alison xox

  2. The red addition is stunning Alison. I also like the white bits-I am guessing they are cut out of paper and added? I know what you mean by someone else being home during the day. I am escaping into my happy place today also, although this might be my only alone day all week. Nice to have them home but I do miss some space. Thanks for joining us at AJJ. And sharing all the beautiful pages of your advent journal with us. Hugs-Erika

  4. I adore this abstract, Alison. The colors go so well together. I've always loved red and gold together. Adding the purple made it even more brilliant. I especially enjoyed how you spaced the Peace, Love, and Joy around the abstract flower. Thanks for this genuine beauty you shared with us at Art Journal Journey honoring Tracey's theme.

  5. Oh Alison I see a rough colour beginning to emerge and doesn't it look great, the gold doodles add a real touch of added elegance. You've done a cracking job with Kasia's advent, not sure if i'll ever get round to sharing any of mine this year.
Your right about the extra house noise, with my Son working from home & the sound of old box sets being played my crafty space is my haven although very messy right now.. job for the new year. Thanks for joining me again @ AJJ i'm so blessed. HUgs Tracey xx
