Rest, Stencil and Teabags

Hi Everyone!

You know I said I didn't like long posts, well I'm popping 3 different things on this one because I want to get out of the house this afternoon. Yes, the thaw has started! Yippee!

First, here is my penultimate Art Marks page. Day 27's word is Rest. I'm not planning to Rest anytime soon, I love making art and blogging every day! Actually, making art is my Rest.

Next, I'm sharing my Gelli Plate prints for Birgit's March Challenge. Day Three's prompt is to use Stencils.

And finally, here are my seven teabags for 365 Somethings, Week Nine. Doodles on a stencilled gesso base, with a little watered green acrylic added for some colour. My 'tulips' on the right, are bending in the wind! Hahaha

Happy Saturday Everyone,

Alison x

  2. Fabulous pieces Alison and I might be coming back to thank you too, as I've had a set of the mini Gelli shapes since about November and haven't opened the packet yet.

  6. I hope you had fun today out and about 😁. Wow, where do I start with all these amazing makes! Your page is beautiful and I love the triangular shapes on the teabags. The Gelli plates stencils look wonderful, I may have to get one of those...lol 😉. And your teabags are stunning with the gesso and doodles, you made me smile about the tulips blowing in the wind too 😁. Happy weekend! J 😊

  11. Your idea of "long" posts makes mine look ginormous. You never seem to rest, so this Art Mark entry is especially lovely. Of course, the tea bags add that special interest to the page, too.

Your gelli play makes me wish I had time to do the same. But I have so much trouble setting the area up, it takes a day just to do so, then another to take it all down. I'm glad you have a place and a way to create your gelli play time. These are lovely.

And of course, I love this latest week's worth of 365 somethings. I keep being amazed at how different and unique you can create these teabag entries each week. They are fabulous.
