Hi Everyone. Today's Gelli Printing prompt was Tissue, and I had a lovely time printing onto plain and Tim Holtz patterned tissue. I used stencils to make patterns on the top prints, and used scrunched up paper tissue to create texture and pattern on those at the bottom.
I also created a rather abstract Spring page for Rosie's challenge at Art Journal Journey. There were many layers until I was happy!
The words read, 'Spring... time for new beginnings'.
Happy Wednesday,
Alison x

I'm not nearly as good at abstract art as you. You see things I don't and compositions I don't. They come together perfectly and look like they were always intended to work together flawlessly. I love this Art Journal Journey entry, and of course, I like the examples of tissue you created for today's gelli challenge. Thanks for linking this to Art Journal Journey today, Alison.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having LOTS of fun play ALison. I am enjoying your Gelli printing challenge and I am picking up some good ideas. Can't wait to see what you'll show us next. Hugs-Erika
