Hi Everyone!
The day started quite dry and mild as I walked down to my pub crochet group this morning, and fortunately I was home before the rain came.
I got the paints and my Gelli Plate out to create some prints on packaging for Birgit's Day 9 challenge.
I thought I cheer my afternoon up with some Springtime art journaling for Rosie's challenge at Art Journal Journey.
I used bubblewrap to print with green paint, an old store card to scrape on some blue, corrugated card to print the orange paint lines, a cork to print the orange circles, then finished with a few marks, and a bird rub-on.
Happy Friday!

You are certainly taking this challenge to heart, Alison. I simply adore the use of objects from around the house and packaging products that you used to create this beautiful spring inspired entry for Art Journal Journey today. It was a real treat to see both the gelli prints and your lovely journal page you shared with us at Art Journal Journey. Thank you, dear.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice when Spring weather is good for a walk :) I like your page. Those sweet birds!
ReplyDeleteI love the gelli printed carboard! Gorgeous - wow! And your spring page for Rosie's collection is just wonderful! The colours are so vibrant and exact enough white space as well! Thank you for linking to AJJ again dear ALison! Happy start of the weekend for you!
