Hi Everyone!
First of all, I'm back with my Art Marks page for Day 25, and the prompt word is Root. I did some weird onions and roots, well that's what they look like to me! Lol! A bit of Bombay India Ink watercolour (left out from my calendar making), some collage circles, and a few marks. This page was very intuitive, and rooted in random creativity...haha...not sure if that makes sense, so cold here now I'm just sitting at my computer.
Onto a new challenge for March. Birgit Koopsen is running a 31 day Gelli Printing challenge on Instagram, with daily prompts. Today's prompt is circles. I used a circle Gel Press plate, PaperArtsy Fresco paint, and used bubble wrap and a plastic tube to make circle designs on different surfaces. Couldn't do circles without using some round teabags!
Time for some lunch!
I'll be back tomorrow,
Alison x

Beautiful page, love the intertwined lines connecting everything. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI saw that Gelli challenge on another blog, but I'm not on Instagram, so can't join it. I also do NOT like my gelli plate (the 8 X 10 inch one). I think I stop too soon or don't quite understand the way it works. I certainly LOVE what you made, along with using a teabag. I really LOVE those round ones, not found in the States.
ReplyDeleteI was also impressed with your Root page. I like the background, the way you tied the lines that signified roots together. I can tell you are going to have a very busy month, dear. I like that you make art every day.
Wow, you completed your page quickly ...lol 😉. As always I love the colours you used and those weird onions and roots look fabulous. It was a great way to use your teabags too 😁. Enjoy the rest of your week! J 😊
ReplyDeleteIts a fantastic page, everything had joined together so well.

These are fab Alison, I love your roots - that sounded better in my head, and the teabags look amazing! Have a very happy March, Sue xx
ReplyDeleteI do love circles and you really nailed that shape in your gelli print. An even on your weird onions. The roots make them look less like weird onions and really cool images. :) happy March. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThat's cool! love the weird onions and colours :)
