Leaves

Hi Everyone!

Day 24's Gelli Print prompt was leaves, and I got pretty carried away! I consulted Birgit's YouTube tutorial '3 Ways With Leaves', and here are the results.

I took ghost prints along the way. I really love these!

Then I used a small round Gel Press Plate, acrylic paint and a little leaf to print on some teabags. Appropriate I thought, for the theme. And these will be my teabags for 365 Somethings, Week 13.

I also did some printing on some of the larger leaves themselves.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend,

Alison x

  6. I love your ghost prints and the larger printed leaves the best, but they are all pretty cool Alison. Leaves are a good thing to gelli print since they make great background paper-or tea bags too. happy rest of your weekend. Hugs-Erika

  7. Oh boy this has to be my favourite of them all so far, i'm very bias when it comes to leaves and makes me think of happy days collecting them with the children each Spring and Autumn and having lots of play days creating with them.
Such a fabulous prompt that works magnificently. I love each and every medium.

  10. I had hoped to get here before Earth Hour, but I got caught up in a project I am working on. Those leaves are stunning and how you painted on the larger leaves is incredible. I am in total awe of how you managed to combine leaves with your 365 teabag art. I am not sure how you come up with all these ideas, but I am really LOVING your teabag series.
