Creative JumpStart Day 6

Hi Everyone! I was thinking about my favourite people when I created this page, which was based on CJS Day 6 with Birgit Koopsen, 'The Distance Is Only Physical'. There's also lots of colour and splatters, which makes it my favourite type of art.

I'm linking up to Erika's Favourite Things theme at Art Journal Journey.

Keep safe everyone, and thanks for dropping by today.

  2. I love this Alison. In my over enthusiasm for being reminded of this technique (painting over crayons, not the whole lesson)I made 3 pages. Smile. Yours with the black overpainting looks amazing. I didn't like mine with black. Makes me appreciate yours even more. I'll have mine up later this week. Glad you are sharing this as it is fun to see how we each have our own unique style. Thanks for sharing at AJJ. Hugs-Erika

  6. Hi Alison, thanks for stopping by on my blog, lovely to see you! I’ve just enjoyed looking at lots of your mixed media work, it looks like art has been bringing you lots of enjoyment this past year. Sorry this is an “anonymous” comment - commenting on blogs from an iPad is increasingly difficult (but seems to work fine if comments pop out in a separate window)

  7. I don't know how I got so far behind, but I love what you have created. I love the way you used the wax crayon to resist the black paint. It's a favorite technique of mine. You also gave us a great quote, which says it all. Thanks so very much for sharing your heartfelt art with us at Art Journal Journey using Erika's theme.
