Creative JumpStart Day 15

 Hello All!

Carolyn Dube's lesson was on Day 15 of CJS. I love Carolyn's use of colour, this was right up my street.

I'm linking this page to Erika's Favourite Things theme at Art Journal Journey.

Before I go, here's a card I was commissioned to make by a neighbour. I used papers and flowers from an Anna Griffin kit that I bought long ago.

Thanks for popping by my blog.

  1. I enjoyed Carolyn's lesson. I think the colors are more up your alley than mine, but she had a great take on the class. Your piece came out amazing. Those colors really are you! Thanks again for sharing at AJJ. I worked on my paper quilt today. I left it to dry so I could watch the inauguration and hopefully tomorrow I can finish my stamping. And before I forget, nice card too. Hugs-Erika

  6. I love the contrast between your painting and the card, both so different. Isn't that marvellous that you can do both.

  7. My sincere apologies for taking so long to visit. Sometimes life gets in the way of computer time. I'm so far behind, I may never catch up, but I'm trying.

I'm also a big fan of Carolyn Dube. Her use of color and how she used her gelli plate were things I always appreciated. You certainly gave us a fun and interesting journal page. Thanks for sharing it with us using Erika's theme at Art Journal Journey, too.

That card IS typical Anna Griffin. My friend Sally LOVES her papers and stamps. This is a lovely, albeit quite different card from the ones you usually make, dear.
