Hello All!
Instead of doing the 365 Somethings Challenge this year, I thought I'd do something a little less challenging, The 100 Days Project. I'm challenging myself to carve a stamp a day for the 100 days. I'm hoping to improve my stamp carving skills. At the moment, my stamps are a little organic, or maybe just messy. :D Anyway, I'm starting with some abstract designs, and hopefully I can progress onto more detailed ones. We'll see.
I'm going to enjoy using these in my art, and I look forward to reading your comments on my stamps.
Have a great weekend,
Alison xox
Fabulous! Have fun with the project! Hugs, Valerie

I don't think your stamps are messy at all. I love the organic shapes. They have a great woodblock style, and all your pieces look super Alison. This sounds like fun! Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous Ali. I love that they are "organic". Personally I would say they are more artful. So unique. Can't wait to see more. Hugs Flo xxx
ReplyDeleteI love your stamps. Good luck on the 100 days.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea Alison, hand carved stamps give great impressions you have a great collection there. I recently found a box of little stamps I carved encouraged to have a play by Donna Gray a few years ago but I do have some A6 ones one I use quite often as an outline. I'll make a note and try and remember to show them this week. With one a day you'll soon have a smashing collection.. have fun Hugs Tracey xx
ReplyDeleteWow, what a fabulous idea! Such a great challenge and your first stamps look amazing, you will be an expert in carving after 100 days too 😁. Can't wait to see more and wishing you a wonderful week! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteDay 4 with the big X reminds me of Seth Apter, who always seems to use an X in his work. I like Day 7 best so far, but I know I'm going to LOVE seeing how you change over time as the 100 days approaches closing.
ReplyDeleteFabulous , You're definitely inspiring me to get going! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI love seeing them on IG but I thought I would come and comment on here. These stamps are so useful to have in your collection and think of all the money you will save!
