Creative JumpStart Day 30

Day 30 of CJS was Show And Tell with Glenda Miles. She created a collage on a wooden block with photos of loved ones, then covered it with encaustic medium.

I used a flat wooden canvas with photos, collage and natural beeswax, then rubbed some Treasure Gold around the edges.

I'm linking up to Valerie's theme Heavy Metal at Art Journal Journey.

  4. That's a fabulous page Alison. I love the paper layering and the photos. I watched some more videos today and did some more watercolor playing. You're still ahead of me. But it is so much fun to watch these. Thanks for joining us at AJJ. Stay safe.

  5. Great background, super pictures, and fun techniques. I am going to go check out that medium - I have heard of it but never watched anything on it or used it. Very cool look. TFS! Hugz

  6. I like this, the3 way you have applied just a little colour, the edging colour and the way the photos are framed. Do I recognise the girl in the bottom one?

  8. This is jaw dropping gorgeous, Alison. I'd love to know how you got the photos to look like they were transparent so the sheet music could show through. This is wonderful. Thanks for yet another great entry for Valerie's theme at AJJ.
