366 Somethings - Week 13

Hi Everyone! I hope that you're all well. I was feeling a bit down today if I'm honest. I made myself go into my craft studio to create today's index card collage. I'm glad that I have this daily incentive to create a little piece of art, or I might spend all day watching TV.

So here are my collaged index cards for week 13 of the 366 Somethings Challenge...

It's hard to pick my favourites amongst this week's efforts, 86, 87, 88 and 90 maybe. I think my technique is definitely evolving, but of course, some days I'm more inspired than others.

Sending you all elbow hugs (to coin a phrase from Nicole!)

Love and blessings,

Alison xox

  1. Hi Alison. I too was a bit low this AM. I took a chilly walk in my back yard. I am glad you too had something to do to uplift you. The cards are amazing but for some reason #88 keeps pulling me. The colors I think. I am now going to sketch out a face to draw. I am also working on my first acrylic face. Looking forward to your next post and thanks for sharing Elbow hugs. Here's one for you too.

  5. My favorites are 88 and 89. I like how you stapled the cheese cloth and I love how you painted the tea tags. I really like all your abstracts, though. Keep them coming, dear. I want to create a few abstracts this year, too, so I need all the inspiration I can get.

  7. Very happy you made yourself go and complete today's card... as a collection these are shaping up to be pure genius. I am endlessly fascinated by the variations and yet how beautifully they work as a series. 86, 87, 89 and 90 all have words that made me laugh out loud today... wonderful collaging as ever... pure delight. Great work on the daily practice - now watch some more tv (but only a bit).

  8. Such gorgeous collages! #88 caught my eye, the candy coloured design is fabulous and different from your normal colour palette - beautiful 😀. It's understandable to feel down with everything that's going on, I hope you made feeling better today! Take care and happy weekend! Hugs, Jo x
