I made another page in my art journal for Eileen's 'Green' theme at Art Journal Journey, following Kasia's Day 3 prompts for Soothe Me Art Journaling.
This page started with layers of collage, then I added the leafy branch, some red marks, painty drips and splatters, and a journaled border, writing about my lovely walk today.

ReplyDeleteAfter running a new line and new connectors, I was finally back online. Then, I left two messages and got kicked off again. At least this time, I was able to get back on. Sorry I’m running so far behind. This is an absolutely incredible journal page, Alison. Yes, I noticed the tea bags. I also noticed the different items you used to collage your background. Simply stunning. I'll be back shortly to see what else I've missed.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous leaves over the collaged background - wish I'd signed up for Kasia's challenge now - but I'd not really have had the proper attention to give it. Oh well, I've got lots of online courses stacked up waiting for me... I might finally get around to one or two of them.

Not sure how I missed this. Wow. I totally love it. So many great details and so many fun elements. The teabag texture is cool. I think I am going to try it today. The edge journaling is my favorite.
