Drink

Hello Folks!

Today's artist trading stamp had the theme of Drink, so I found a pair of fairies having a tea party on a teacup, cut it out, and plonked it on a pre-made background, then stamped the words.

Yesterday, I got quite carried away, and made two more fairy ATS's.

Then I created this card. I couldn't resist stencilling with a bit of Mod Podge glue and adding a few blue micro beads.

I'm linking up to Art Every Day Month Day 13.

And now I'm off to snuggle up in a blanket and watch some TV now. Feeling so cold today, even though I got out for a nice long walk this morning in the sunshine.

Have a good evening,

Alison xox

  4. Oh, I like the idea of a party in a teacup, lol - sounds like lots of fun - as long as it's a clean cup ;-) I love the microbeads...wonder if I still have some? I think I bought more clear to cover whole images but not sure if I kept the coloured ones. It's good to be reminded of older supplies...I'll hunt them out... I'm loving your little masterpieces :-)
I think you joined KCUK, Alison - my group - still going strong, though now on FB, much to my dismay...far fewer of us, but after 19 years it's hard to just close down. It's the only stamping outlet for some.

  7. I can tell you like those fairies. It's also great to see you actually made a card from the ATStamps. A really good and functional use for them, Alison. Great job.

  8. It's definitely turned colder, hasn't it! I'm currently snuggled up in a blanket catching up on everyone's blogs ...lol 😉. Those fairies looks wonderful on your page and I'm loving the micro beads too! I keep looking at these beads but keep thinking that I'd probably end up covering everything with them like I do when I used embossing powder ...lol 😉. Happy and creative wishes! Hugs, Jo x
