Gratitude Junk Journal Day 23

 Happy weekend everyone!

It's Day 28 of Leah's Art Every Day Month Challenge, and here's another of my Gratitude Junk Journal pages, with the theme of Gratitude For Pets.

I featured Angus, one of my sweet rescue guinea pigs. He was my first rescue, and he's such a cutie! He rescued me too, at a time when I was feeling very low, having just had my autoimmune hepatitis diagnosis.

I hope your weekend is going well. Thanks for dropping by.

  1. Lovely page. It's good that we can help animals, and they give us so much back. Hugs, Valerie

  2. Angus is adorable! Guinea pigs are so sweet. My adult nephew has gone nuts for guinea pigs over the past 18 months. He has around 21 of them and loves them all. My sister says he is such a good guinea pig parent too.

I'm so sorry to hear you have autoimmune hepatitis. I had to look it up. There is a chance that it will clear away on its own? I do hope the medications help to keep it under control at least.

P.S. - Just to respond to a couple of your comments on my blog - I love that you rescued 2 guinea pigs and I'm glad to hear that you are an animal lover like me. How lovely that you helped out at an animal rescue before Covid. And how cool that you saw Puffins! I've never seen them in real life, only in images.

    All the best to you,
    Serena xo

    1. P.S. - Almost forgot this one — Last, but certainly not least, Pina Colada is one of my favourite cocktails too. :)

  6. Angus is such a cutie and I love the flowers you drew. It's good that both you and Angus rescued each other. I'm sure there's a bond that won't ever be broken, too. SO sorry I'm late visiting. Life got in the way of computer time yesterday.

  7. Replying to your response on my blog post - Not good that you are stuck with the autoimmune condition. I hope the medications are effective and, yes, you need to be extra careful in these times of Covid. Stay safe and well. xo
