Gratitude Junk Journal Day 11

It's day 14 of Leah's Art Every Day Month challenge, and today I'm sharing my art journal page for day 11 of Gratitude Junk Journal.

This class was titled Gratitude For Coffee with Nicole Watson, and we used a lot of coffee amongst other things on our pages. I decided to create some cardboard leaves and my page title is Grateful For Autumn.

Thanks for dropping by,

  1. I like your coffee autumn. I like to use coffee as watercolor but this looks different from what I have done. Your color is stronger and I like that :)

  5. This is one of my favorite spreads, Alison. I love the composition, and the moody tans and browns that contrast with the orange and turquoise. This is also great from a positive standpoint. I absolutely love the texture you achieved with the leaves, too. Did I mention how much I LOVE this?

  7. I went back to leave Serena a comment after she tried to help me with my alignment problem. While there, I read YOU are also a big fan of Pink Floyd. I even mention it in my profile. I LOVE them too, and have every album they've ever made.

  9. OH, this page is lovely! You truly have a knack for getting a lovely balance between the elements. What a great idea to add some texture with the corrugated leaves.

I must be hungry because this lovely page is also making me think of chocolate chip cookies.

I told Bradley about your comment regarding Pink Floyd and he put a huge smile on his face. Bradley is legally blind and hearing impaired and he is a die-hard music nut! He even has his own digital keyboard connected to his iMac so he can create music. His idol has been Elton John for many years but his music tastes are very broad. He has many favourites. :)
