Hi Everyone!
It's Day 26 of Leah's Art Every Day Month Challenge, and I have another Gratitude Junk Journal page to share.
Day 21's prompt was Gratitude for our favourite food. I chose cheese on toast. Now that I'm dairy free, I really miss cheddar cheese melted on toast, but I have found quite a nice vegan hard cheese alternative, which is coconut based, by Koko.
Thanks for visiting me here today.
I hope you're all having a happy, safe and creative week.

Yuum Yumm great art of a snack I really enjoy. Have a very nice day.
ReplyDeleteso yummy. I to miss it as I realized some years ago that I am allergic to milk products :( I can eat some once a week only. I have a plate that looks similar to yours :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful post and you've inspired me to go into the kitchen and eat some cheese on toast! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteOH yes! I remember those melted cheese on toast days. Yummy illustration! Luckily, vegan cheeses have come a long way. I like the Scheese brand which is Made in Scotland and melts quite well. It's coconut-based too. I don't think we get the Koko brand here but will keep a look out for it. :)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant page and I had an obsession with cheese on toast a couple of years ago after never eating before -had to give it up when my Cholesterol level went up lol

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why I didn't link until now today. I certainly linked at Rain's. DUH.
ReplyDeleteI could never be a vegan because I can't give up cheese or milk products. I'm glad you have found an alternative you can use, though. This was a lovely journal page and I really like the color of the plate and the background, too.
Nothing better than cheese on toast - yum! You captured it so beautifully on your page too, now I think I may have to take the kitchen ...lol 😀. Hugs, Jo x
