Happy March Everyone!
I have my new calendar pages for March to share with you today.
I started by gluing down some dress pattern tissue, then I scraped some turquoise paint over it. I used neon pink paint to stamp with my hand-carved plus signs stamp, then used a cardboard tube to stamp with some diluted instant coffee. I stamped some 'u's and scallops with black paint. Two more of my hand-carved stamps ;-)
I stencilled the splats, then stamped the title with Darkroom Door alphabet and number stamps. I drew a pink tulip with paint pens, then added pink day numbers and splatters.
I linking my spread to Sheila's A Single Flower challenge at Art Journal Journey.
I'm also entering Try It On Tuesday's Say It With Flowers challenge.
Before I go, here is my February spread with all of my daily doings recorded.
Thanks for visiting,
Alison xox
Your March page is magical with everything you have created there and I enjoyed reading about all the steps and the different materials. I've been admiring your hand-made stamps on Instagram and it's good to see some of them in action here.
ReplyDeleteAnd there is the Single Flower, sitting quietly in the corner, a special pink tulip.
Thanks very much for entering this in my AJJ challenge, Alison.
Beautiful calendar spread. Pink flower peeks nicely on the corner.
