Hello All.
I have another page to share for Sheila's A Single Flower theme at Art Journal Journey.
I created the flower, using a black pen on a blue and gold watercolour background. Then I simply layered it with some music paper and another watercolour background, and added some stamped words that are from the Journaling Mini Words background stamp by The Artistic Stamper.
Hope you're having a good week. Thanks for visiting.

At first, I thought this was a stamp. I was SO surprised to read you drew it yourself. I love, love, love it. I always love to see layering, and this is beautiful. I love the little gold accents, too. Thanks for yet another great entry for Art Journal Journey using Sheila's theme.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely calm flower collage, Alison.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautifully minimalistic which I know can be difficult to achieve successfully.
I like it a lot.
This is a beautiful page Alison. I love the blues and green and that splash of gold. That gold splash works well with the blues and greens. I bet the flowers are singing that it is time to bloom again. Hope all is well and thanks for joining in at Sheila's AJJ challenge. Hugs-Erika

How effective is that! I love the blue you have obtained with the watercolour, it is the perfect foil for the lovely hand drawn flower. That would make a gorgeous stamp.

This piece is beautiful in a subtle way, live the addition of the gold.

P.S Below post should have been 3 not 31, fat fingers slipped on the keys :/
Beautiful page! The soft colours with the gold looks amazing and the flower looks so pretty, such a fresh and peaceful design 😁. I hope you've had a wonderful week! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful flower Alison, especially as it is on that lovely delicately coloured background. Hugs, Chrisx
