Hi Everyone!
Here's today's Scrappy September page.
Day 21 - Cream(colour), Game card, Puzzle piece, Hexagon.
Bonus Item - Movie theatre ticket stub.
Today I gave the bonus item a miss, although I've probably got a rubber stamp of a ticket somewhere amongst my stash, but I couldn't lay my hands on a real one. I haven't been to the cinema since before the virus.
I'm linking up to Wendy's Vintage theme at Art Journal Journey.
Thanks for visiting,
Alison
Fun piece, love the sentiment! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteGreat page and love the jigsaw piece-I can relate to the sentiment lol

A very clever page Alison, I love the message here coupled with the playing card. I have that 'man' stamp - it looks good on a jigsaw piece - or should I call it a puzzle. Great background papers, love the French text and the glitter and paint on the clip holding the pages together.

That quote with the queen and the 2 men is so clever. I am glad you stamped them on a puzzle piece. That poor queen has quite the expression. Thanks for sharing with us at AJJ Alison. This is great for Wendy's theme. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteAnother great page Alison, I used to love adding fabric and the jigsaw pieces. Thank you for joining us on AJJ

Interesting combination of different materials. Nice idea!
ReplyDeleteA super page Alison and it makes me think that I should do more like this. I too haven't been to the cinema for over two years now. Let's hope that one day soon, things will be back to some sort of normal without us having to worry every time we visit a crowded place x
ReplyDeleteHer face looks so perfectly representative of the words- "Men, I thought grimly." How fun is that! Love the layers and details - GREAT page.
ReplyDeleteI love how you stamped on the puzzle piece, Alison. And that sure has a great vintage feel to the page, too. I love how the sentiment goes so well with the playing card. I also like that fabric backing you added. This is fabulous and another great entry for Wendy's theme at Art Journal Journey.
ReplyDeleteLove your page Alison and of course the sentiment, I can just see her rolling her eyes lol. Elle xx
ReplyDeleteA fantastic design for this page Alison, I like how you stamped onto the puzzle piece as well.
ReplyDeleteIts a super page for Wendy's AJJ theme, thank you for linking up with us all.
