52 Weeks Art Journal - Weeks 31 & 32

Hello Everyone. I have two pages to share today for Raspberry Blue Sky's 52 Weeks Art Journal challenge. I completely forgot to share last week's page.

Week 31 - Creative Chaos. I was crafting via Messenger video with my mate Nicky aka Minxy, and I decided to use my handmade prompt cards for my page to get an unplanned result. Nicky consulted Alexa, who picked '7' as the number of cards to use. And the last prompt was 'use a stamp', so Nicky told me to use a Dina Wakley face or figure. It turned out to be great creative chaos.

Week 32 - Collage. It was my Thursday crafting date with Nicky via Messenger video again, and this time we both made a page using my prompt cards. Alexa gave us 8 as the number of prompts to use this time. Luckily the first prompt was to use magazine images of a man and woman, so I was able to link to the collage theme. Coffee was one of the prompts, I hadn't used that in a while. I finished with some found text, which fitted quite nicely with the images. The man is off to play golf with his chums, and his wife doesn't appear displeased with that fact! I wonder what she has planned 😂

I'm linking this page to Neet's Type theme at Art Journal Journey. I used two types of recycle items to print with, bubblewrap and corrugated card.

Thanks for visiting,

Alison

  3. I'm loving the figures/faces on both of these, and the bit of white texture on the first piece with the Dina figure. Thanks for sharing them at AJJ. You look like you are having LOTS of fun making these pages Alison.

  4. I always have to think about things and what I’m going to do for so long, it would take me days or weeks to do a page. It sounds really fun the use some prompts and make art with your friend via messenger video. I like both of these fun pages.

  7. You never fail to amaze me, Alison. These are both wonderful journal pages. You come up with the most clever ideas for your pages. I love the recycling and the coffee, too. Thanks for yet another great entry you have shared with us at Art Journal Journey using Neet's theme. You are so consistent linking to AJJ, you make me feel ashamed.

  8. There are so many things I love in this post. Your working with your mate via messenger, using a random number for prompt cards and of course the pages themselves. They are fabulous. I specially love the first one.
