I swear Alison. It takes me 15 minutes just to get glue to dry. and you have created all those layers and layers of different papers. Is your background a security envelope? That's a design II haven't seen, if it is. I love the pods, and of course, the bird. Great example of the theme. Thanks for another great entry you have given us for Art Journal Journey using Neet's great theme.
ReplyDeleteWas that a page from a book Alison that you used for your background. I ask because some of it looks to be on Kraft paper. It's interesting anyhow. Love the silhouette poppy heads. Funnily enough I have just been shaking the seeds from some I picked a week or so ago. I love poppy heads, love poppies full stop.

Thanks Neet! There was alsorts of collage, old music sheet, bits of stamped words. But all the images are stencilled, no stamps.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great page! I love the words all over the place in the colorful background with the strong black silhouette images on top. That’s a favorite color combination and birds are always great art subjects for me.
