I have another journal page to share for Jo's Texture theme at Art Journal Journey.
It started off as a 5 minute page for Southern Gal's Instagram Challenge.
Then I added some texture paste stencilling with a PaperArtsy stencil. I pressed a plastic cross-stitch circle into the paste to add more texture, then added a wash of dark blue acrylic over the top. I rubbed a little chalk acrylic over the stencilling to highlight the texture paste, then finished with some book page words and a few orange paint pen marks.

Love the texture you achieved by using the plastic cross stitch stencil. It has created some wonderful looking shapes and I just think the words are wonderful. Is it a quote or one of your own?
