365 Somethings Week 27

Hello Folks!

I almost forgot to do my teabag art this week! I blame it on the heatwave, it's been too much for me, especially the hot and sticky nights when I can't sleep. Anyway, I did remember eventually, and here are my 7 teabags for week 27 of the 365 Somethings Challenge.

A bit of gesso, a spot of cobalt teal hue acrylic spritzed with water, green gold printed with bubblewrap, a scrap of book page, some dried paint blobs, and finally, a few splatters of black and iridescent bronze paint.

Thanks for visiting,

Alison xox

  3. I swear, Alison, I have NO idea how you make it in this heat, especially after I asked Helen (Stamping by H) if she had AC in her home and she laughed. Apparently it isn't supposed to get that warm in the UK, so most people don't have it.

Back to your 365 Somethings, these are great. I like how you added the dried paint blogs, and of course, the paint and collage elements, too. They are beautiful and well done, even if you suffered through the heat to finish them.

  4. Fabulous teabag projects Alison, they could easily decorate cup cakes, had they been edible.

    1. Thanks Carol! I usually put the tea leaves around my plants in the garden.

  6. These are great Alison! I don't know how many of those tiny dried paint donuts I've thrown out in my life, hundreds probably. I would've never thought of saving them. These are a treasure!
