Hello Folks! I'm a day early with my 365 Somethings for week 29 of the challenge. I even scheduled the post, as we're busy getting our daughter's room cleaned and ready for her return from South East Asia this week. I'm so excited to see her again! Eight months is an awfully long time!!!
These are pretty simple, PaperArtsy images stamped and white embossed, then colour added with PaperArtsy Infusions.
My favourite. I think this teabag was a peppermint one...
Happy Sunday!

I can remember I had just "met" you about the time your daughter was leaving for the far east. How wonderful it will be to have her back home again.
ReplyDeleteOnce more, I'm thrilled to see these incredible teabags. I had no idea they came in various flavors and teas, too. I guess that's my DUH showing. I love all of these, and am truly impressed with this week's nature aspect.
These look great. I like the brown tones. It's a good lead in to Fall (which is still a few months away, but the stores have already got Fall harvest stuff out, which I think is too soon).
ReplyDeleteAre these tea bags the same size as ATCoins (2.5")? Do you open the tea bags to get the tea out of them, or do you leave the tea inside of them? (It looks like you leave the tea inside of them, after they have dried out from making tea.) I enjoy seeing your tea bag art.
Thanks Anne. They're almost the same size as AT coins. I dry the teabags out, then make a small cut to empty out the tea. I usually iron the bags before decorating too.
DeleteLovely warm and natural colours - these are so lovely Alison - fab stamps too.
ReplyDeleteAhh what an exciting week ahead you have with the return of your daughter thats brilliant news :)

Love these natural colours and patterns, your tea-bag art is so original.
ReplyDeleteHow good to have your daughter at home again, the very best kind of visitor (although she is not a visitor as it is her home!).
How 8 months has flown for me but I can imagine that it went a bit slower for you! Your teabags look great with those stamps! I just happen to have some of the same stamps out on my desk at the moment!Hugs,Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of these and how bold the white embossing powder looks. Good luck cleaning your daughter's room and have a great time with her return. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThe infusions really have intensified the colour upon those teabags makes the white embossing stand out even more. Fabulous Teabag Art.
ReplyDeleteThose eight months have flown by to me as it seems like only last week you were preparing yourself for her journey but as as Mom I know the time for you would have seemed much much longer. Enjoy every moment.
Hugs Tracey xx
