Greetings to all my lovely followers, and a very Happy Independence Day to my American friends.
Today, I'm sharing another art journal page with Chris' 'Art For Art's Sake' Challenge at Art Journal Journey.
My inspiration was taken from an AJ video tutorial by Leanne Jago, using lots of DecoArt Media products I haven't used in a while, including Antiquing Cream and Interference paint. I also used Dina Wakley and That's Crafty stencils, and DW stamps.
Happy Wednesday Everyone!

What a simply gorgeous journal page. It felt ethereal to me. The colors added to the well designed piece. Thank you so much for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey. It's a rare beauty.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is so beautiful! I find this piece mesmerising and have been looking at it for a while trying to figure out how you created it ...lol 😉. The transparency of the layers is amazing 😁. Happy Wednesday! J 😊 x

ReplyDeleteOh Alison this really is a work of ART, those two figures in the background are so moving and is it just me but the pink area over the image in the top left hand corner looks like a figure being held in arms..?? AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteCreative Hugs & Thanks so much for sharing this fabulous piece Tracey xx
Love LOVE this Alison and I had a good old zoom in close to have a look at all the wonderful artsy details. Love the colours too. Interference paint is great isn't it.
ReplyDeleteAssuming you are still hiding in your craft room away from the heat - looks like you are having fun though.
I can't seem to think straight when its hot and we have 7 fans in various rooms and its still been up to 85f at night..
Keep cool and gave another creative fun day...
Gill xx
I love your page. Those figures look like such strong powerful women. I always thought of red as a power color but you have made blue one with this piece. Hope all is well. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteWow, this page is really striking, Alison. I love it. I don't have interference paint, but I have Pearl Ex powders labeled interference. I wish I understood what they're for. I'm making a goal of using them in a age for this month's challenge. Thanks for the inspiration.
