Hi Everyone! Here's a journal page I made a couple of days ago, which started off with the same background as my this page. By the way, thanks for all the lovely comments you left for that page, they were much appreciated.
Another page for Chris' Art For Art's Sake Challenge at Art Journal Journey, with lots of layers of collage, stencilling, stamping, splashes and drips. I used one of my teabags from my 365 Somethings week 26 collection.
Hope you're surviving the Summer heatwave, I've been hiding from it mostly!
Happy weekend,
Alison xox
Beautiful journal page Alison. I go walking early and then hide from the heat at home!
ReplyDeleteThis is YUMMIE and gorgeous at once! WOW! Thank you so much for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey. It's a rare beauty.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fantastic little focal point is this amazing art-teabag!
Happy weekend and keep cool furthermore! The best we can do to come through the heat!

Another beautiful page! The blue with the red drips looks gorgeous and I love the layers of collage too 😁. I'm really enjoying the sunny weather although we have been seeking shade under the trees on our walks ...lol 😉. I hope you are having a lovely weekend! J 😊 x
ReplyDeletegreat page again Alison!
ReplyDeleteI really need to try those splotches and splashes because they add SO much character to your art. I'm certainly impressed and may have to try this before July ends. This is remarkable, awe inspiring, colorful, and tea bag drippy. Additionally. you shared it with us at Art Journal Journey, which makes it even better, dear. BTW, I'm hiding from the heat, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat inky and painted slashed page, it looks fabulous.
