My Favourite Kind of Adventure

Hi Everyone!

Did you miss me yesterday?  My dear Hubby is prepping our concrete dining room floor to put down some wooden flooring (it's been just concrete since we extended our bungalow a few years/decades ago!). Anyway, the banging and sanding drove me out of the house to a local deer park which was nice, but I didn't get time to make some art.

I couldn't leave it another day, so I put on some loud music to drown him out, and had an arty adventure.

Of course, I'm linking my page to Art Journal Journey's New Year, New Adventures challenge, but also to Try It On Tuesday's 'My Favourite Things' challenge. As you probably know, collaging teabags is one of my favourite things, and I do love my paint, stamps, drips and splatters, and art journaling.

Time for a spot of lunch now, and as it's a bright and sunny day, I'm off for a countryside walk after. Might try and persuade Hubby to take a break and join me.

Happy Wednesday,

Alison x

I can an imagine that the loud noise makes not so happy but the finished room will be worth the drama I guess...oxo Susi!

  11. I love how the tea bags give such a good spot for that big bright heart! And I love the drips too! They really pop off the page. And I do love hearts-one of my favorite shapes! So that means it is all together a great page. :) Thanks for joining my theme again at AJJ. I do appreciate it, and I hope those floors are coming along so you don't get driven out because of the noise again! Hugs-erika

  12. I really, really want you to share some of your awesomely awesome teabag art with us for T sometime. This is a fabulous entry, and I love it. I adore hearts, and would love to feel the texture of that page. It is beautiful and a great entry for Art Journal Journey.

I hope the construction sounds will soon be silent and you can get back to making art again. I really, really LOVE what you create!
