Hello Folks!
I'm a day late to Elizabeth's Tea Day Party. A friend had an emergency, and I stepped in to help. But I'd already taken a photo of my oat bread loaf, fresh from the oven, and my cup of peppermint & liquorice tea.
Today, I created an art journal page for the final day of Erika's New Year/New Adventures challenge at Art Journal Journey.
Finger painting, printing with lids, lego and Fresco Finish Paint, book page scraps, a teabag, and Tim Holtz Remnant Rubs. Finished with some scribble journaling.
I'm also linking up to That's Crafty's Feeling Blue Challenge.
Wishing you a belated Happy T-Day!

Gorgeous journal page, love the colours. The bread looks great, too. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI hope your friend is ok 😁. Your bread looks delicious and I like the sound of the peppermint and liquorice tea too - yum! Your stamped teabag looks amazing on the background that you created with those fabulous layers of colours and texture. I love all those dots and circles too - perfect 😁. Wishing you a Happy belated T Day! J 😊 x
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - what a delightful and clever page - You gave us so much inspiration Alison! Thank you very much for all your ideas and wonderful pages linked this month to Erika's "Adventures" collection!
ReplyDeleteGosh I hope it isn't too bad with your friend ♥♥♥
Oh I have to search for a good oat bread recipe soon. This looks tempting , especially with this tea. A British blog friend sent a liquorice tea to me some time ago and it was fantastic but I can't find this flavour here in Austria, even liquorice to chew I just get in one German chemist's chain here in Austria - Haribo makes it and in no Austrian supermarket they sell the Haribo liquorice sweets - all other things from Haribo but no things liquorice - I wonder why....
Happy rest of the week and all good wishes for your friend!
