Daisy Yellow's Index Card a Day 2021 - Week 1

 Hi Everyone!

It's DYICAD time of year, which means I'm making index card art again! This challenge runs through June and July, so it's 61 days in total. I decided to go with collage and birds.

Here are my week one ICADs...

Green Woodpecker

Brambling

Partridge

Blue Tit

Redwing

Ringneck Pheasant

Collared Dove

Thanks for visiting,

  4. I was SO impressed that you are going with a theme of birds and collage this year, Alison. I look forward to seeing all 61 of these if you find enough birds for 61 days. One year I used hearts and by the end, I was so tired of hearts, I never wanted to see them again. Of course, I remember that you created 365 somethings using tea bags, so you are obviously in it for the long haul. I like all of these, so they are going to be ICADs I will look forward to each week.

  5. I forgot to mention. I know I've seen your date stamp before, but it never occured to me that the day came before the month until I saw these. They must make different types of date stamps. One for most of the world, and one for us in the states MM/DD/YYYY!

  6. These are really lovely Alison, i'm so impressed with your zest to be able to turn your hand to so many of these longer challenges. I missed the last of your hand carved stamps but I will always thank you for making me keep my carving bits and bobs back out and close to hand. Beautiful choice of subject. Looking forward to seeing as the weeks progress.
