Hello All!
I found another freebie art course on Instagram! This is a short one from Kasia Avery of Everything Art, with 5 days of prompts plus a short video to inspire.
Day one was to list 6-8 things we were grateful for that day.
Day two was about finding time to play and embracing the ugly. We were asked to paint and make marks with an old toothbrush.
And today, Day three, we were asked what flower would we be and why. I chose a simple no frills daisy. I love the simple things in life.
I added a few butterflies for Mia's Butterfly theme at Art Journal Journey.
Thanks for dropping by,
Alison xox
How fun. You make beautiful pages.
ReplyDeleteYou find some awesome classes Alison. And you make great art in them also. Loving all your pages, but the no frills daisy page makes a great addition to Mia's butterfly challenge at AJJ. Thanks for joining us. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteWow, this is wonderful. Once again, you found something joyous to create. I really LOVE the journal page from Day 1. It has your favorite colors, too. Day 2 is really nice because it continues the mixed media theme. And of course, I love Day 3 because I really like how you think. This is not just no frills, it is stunning. It's also so sweet of you to share it with us at Art Journal Journey using Mia's theme, too.
ReplyDeleteYou have made three beautiful pages in your journal, love that stunning daisy especially. Have a great week, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteFabulous journal pages love the daisy and the first two collage pages

Every of three pages are greatly composed and look wonderful. May be the daisy page is my favorite, too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week ahead xx
All of the pages bewitch me and are beautiful. Your ideas are great!
ReplyDeleteHave a good day, hug Elke
Lovely pages, Alison! Daisies are my eldest son's favourite flowers.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of your week,

Great pages, Kasia's ideas are cool. I really love your collage composition ability. XOX
ReplyDeleteSounds like an inspirational course. I like the idea of the things you were grateful for and it got me thinking for myself. I was surprised how quickly I could think of five things.
ReplyDeleteI could have managed the second as I have an old toothbrush with me and I think I would have gone with a daisy too, they are one of my favourite flowers and easier to draw than a poppy.
Thanks for a lovely post.
Hugs, Neet xx
I have yet to start on my prompts as we still had 2 weeks Wanderlust to complete. Love Kasia's art though so looking forward to this week and a catch up! Love the daisy page! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteThese ARE fun exercises and beautiful artwork! I would have chosen a daisy too :D
