Wild Animals and Teabags

Hello Friends!

Here's my Day 15 Art marks page, with the word prompt 'Evolve'. Needs no explanation...we are evolving constantly.

I used an old credit card and new PaperArtsy Seth Apter Fresco acrylics, to create layer after layer of colour and lines. Painted the word, adhered some postage stamps, then finished with circles stamped with a lids and white gel pen marks.

Almost forgot... here are my teabags for 365 Somethings, Week Seven...

I originally did some stencilling and marks on the bags, but didn't like it, so I painted all over with black Fresco acrylic, then stamped and embossed some PA Ellen Vargo images with Stampendous Frantage EP in various colours. Finished with some splatters of white Bombay India Ink. Now I love!!! I really ought to use these EPs more!

Have a great week everyone!

  5. What an incredible page for AJJ. It is simply incredible. Years ago, I read about the white moth butterfly that nearly became extinct because the city of London had gotten so grimy and dirty. Instead of dying out, the moth evolved and turned black and gray, so it blended in better with its surroundings. I am truly impressed with these postage stamps you used, and the background is absolutely incredible. I love how the many layers built up to turn into a true work of ART. Thanks for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey.

You KNOW how much I love those teabags, and I love it even more that each week you come up with new and clever ways to share them. This week, with the black paint, the EP really pops of the bags. So beautiful and so different. You know how much I love your teabag art, and this makes for yet another week of beautiful teabag somethings.
