Hello Folks.
Do you ever start a page, then you don't know when to stop? You just keep adding and adding. I watched two episodes of Grey's Anatomy...well listened actually...whilst making this one! Lol! That's long for me anyway. The day 8 word was 'Attention'. This page certainly held my attention.
Here's a closer look at the teabag flower...
Speaking of teabags, here are my decorated teabags for week six of the 365 Somethings Challenge.
I used a small Gel Press Plate, some PaperArtsy stencils, and Snowflake Fresco Finish Chalk paint. Then I used a black pen to add dotty outlines. The first, positive prints were naturally brighter, but I love the more faded negative, secondary prints too.
The sun is shining, so we're off for a walk with friends now.
Hope you're having a fun and creative Sunday too,
Alison x
Wonderful journal page and love the tea bags, they get better and better. Hugs, Valerie

That black dots look stitched-like you put the tea bags through a machine without any thread. Do love the look of it? Great page Alison. You are on a roll lately. Hugs-erika
ReplyDeleteLove the page but it's those fabulous decorated tea bags that make me swoon! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteLove your page Alison, lots of hidden detail. I have the *can not stop adding* problem all the time, it can be difficult to close the book and walk away!!
ReplyDeleteYour Teabags are WOW, very delicately detailed. Do you ever use fruit teabags?? The darker fruits leave fabulous colours.
Wishing you a super creative week.
Hugs Tracey xx
Of course I simply adored your fantastic Attention to Detail. I often stop before the page is finished, so I have the exact opposite dilemma as you. i think you knew exactly when to stop.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, I was in total AWE of your teabag art. You make this 365 Something SO interesting with how you create your teabag art so unusual each week. I am not just in awe, I am INSPIRED!
Teabag flowers are terrific.
ReplyDeleteThe tea coloured ones are astonishing, what a great idea for the round teabags but of course I do like your coloured piece too.
Preciious! Amazing patterns on the teabags and the page is a feast for the eyes! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly created lots of detail in this page, especially those pretty blue leaves on the teabag - beautiful 😁. Those Gelli plate teabags are something special too - I love them! I hope you enjoyed the walk with your friends 😁. We had blue skies and sunshine this afternoon although we had to wrap up warm when we went out as it was still cold ... Lol 😉. Have fun! J 😊
