Hi Everyone!
I'm up to Day 18 of Rae Missigman's February Art Marks Love Challenge, and today's word is 'Tend'. It made me think of Spring seedlings, but also of tending to my daily art needs.
I started by scraping some Pea Coat PaperArtsy Fresco Finish paint onto my page, then added some scrapes of Snowflake paint. I glued some teabag papers on top of the white paint, then painted some flowers and marks with Sargasso, Cerise and Magic Moss. The teabags were vanilla chai and blackcurrant, which makes my page smell delicious.
I'm linking my page to MOO-MANIA's Think of Spring Challenge.
Happy Thursday,
Alison x
A beautiful page Alison! Have a great day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThis challenge seems to be very hard - I could not find anything to paint to these words, todays "Tend" for example. But you do a great job here - your journal page is very beautiful! And you say the page smells delicious, because of the vanilla chai and blackcurrant teabags - I can imagine that!
ReplyDeleteWish you a happy day! Rike

ReplyDeleteI would have been by sooner, but the ice storm we had last night took out my phone and internet. It just came back on a few minutes ago. I love the way you interpreted this challenge today. I can almost smell the beauty of the tea. The flowers are adorable, too.
ReplyDeleteA stunning page Alison.
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I had smell-o-vision, vanilla chai and blackcurrant sounds so delicious! Your page is as wonderful and the large teabag looks amazing with the flowers - stunning 😁. Happy Friday and Weekend! J 😊
ReplyDeleteWonderful Alison, and the teabags kind of make it all look textural , like lovely fabric patches - also drink Chai Vanilla and Blackcurrant tea :-) xx
ReplyDeletehey a tag off a tea bag. You have switched it up. I also noticed the different shaped tea bags too. I am sipping some vanilla chai as I read and do some blog catching up. Boy people have put a lot up in the last 2 days. Hugs-Erika
