Hello Everyone.
This week Michelle/RaspberryBlueSky challenged us to create a page in 15 minutes.
I began as I usually do, with a bit of collage. I scraped some turquoise paint over this, then sketched the flower with black ink, letting it drip. I love a drip or three! I added some butterflies, the three phrase stickers, used a Stabilo All black pencil to outline, and finished with white paint splashes. When I'd finished, I was thrilled to noticed that I'd created a rhyme with the words 😁
I'm joining in again with Alison's Summer Countryside theme at Art Journal Journey.
Thanks for visiting,
Alison xox
Wonderful page, well done on the 15 minutes! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDelete15 minutes! I love it. I can barely have a page finished in 15 sittings at my table! I love the boldness and delicate-ness together of this page. It’s the little surprises like the discovered rhyming that make art journaling even more fun.
ReplyDeleteI love that you did this in 15 minutes! It has a lot of energy and is just plain fun! The words make it even better! I am going to try to do a page in 15 and see what happens! Hugz
ReplyDeleteTakes me 15 minutes to think of what colour of ink/paint I am going to use. Splendid age Alison - great ideas.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet xx
Incredible that you created such a beautiful page in 15 minutes. It would have taken me much much longer just to come up with an idea.

A wonderful page and you did it 15 minutes, it would have taken me more than that to collect together what I wanted to use. Thank you for linking to Alison'd theme over at AJJ.

Wow Alison - the best use of 15 minutes ever! I love these colours - the butterflies really do look great here! Another fabulous page for Alison's Summer Countryside theme at AJJ, Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast you created with the colors. I love the way you formed the poem. This is a really lovely entry. I would never have gotten this in 15 minutes, but maybe 15 hours. You did a fabulous job and also made it a great entry for Alison's theme at Art Journal Journey.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic and thew added butterflies really pop off the page. I love a drip too. Thanks for sharing this with us at AJJ. You've had some fantastic pieces this month for Alison's challenge. Happy end of July. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLove this. I find that 15 minutes can produce something wonderful.
