Hi Everyone! I have a couple more pages to share for the 31 Products Challenge.
My page for Day 6 features Liquitex Glass Bead Gel. I used drips of watered down red paint to highlight the fabulous texture.
And for Day 7, I've used vintage book pages to make a collage, then used a wet paintbrush to create splatters off a charcoal stick. I also used the charcoal stick to outline the words on a piece of vintage paper from an old book belonging to my engineer hubby. I activated the charcoal with a wet paintbrush. I've stencilled on some numbers with black paint and a PaperArtsy stencil. I've always preferred to solve mathematical problems against writing essays, so I'm entering this page for the Art Journal Journey Creature Comforts Challenge.
Hope you've all had a great weekend,
thanks for visiting,
Alison xox
Both pages are wonderful Alison, looks like you are having fun. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteLoving both pages Alison! I do have bead gel on my wish list but keep hesitating to buy it cuz i don't know how much I'd be using it. Looks like a fun texture though. Thanks for joining AJJ again!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of that glass bead gel, and the texture it creates is amazing. I have NOT heard of a charcoal stick, but I like how you used it in your collage.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love to write (you can tell by visiting my blog), I also LOVE math and numbers. This truly spoke to me, and I am so, so glad you shared it with us at Art Journal Journey.
Both fabulous pages Alison love the charcoal stick effect on the 2nd one

Fantastic pages Alison, I like numbers as well, so maybe the second page would be my favourite.
