Hi Everyone! I've been a bad blogger this last week! Colds do that don't they? They zap your mojo. I've still been keeping up with the 31 Products Challenge on Instagram though, and I've a page and all the steps to show you today.
Day 13 - Fibre Paste
Day 14 - Alcohol Ink
Day 15 - Mica Flakes
Day 16 - Faber-Castell Whipped Spackle
Day 17 - Inktense Blocks (various blue shades, used to add watercolour to the whipped spackle)
Day 18 - Tim Holtz Rub Ons
Day 19 - Paper Flowers, & Day 20 - Dr PH Martin's Bombay India Ink (drops added to the paper flowers)
I also finished my page with a Tim Holtz quote sticker, and splatters of black India Ink.
Keeping up with this challenge has been such a comfort to me this week, so I hope it's ok to link this page to Linda's Creature Comforts Challenge at Art Journal Journey.
I'll be back soon with my latest teabag art. This Monday morning has been a productive one, and all before 8am!
Thanks for visiting,
Alison xox
You have been working hard! Lovely pages and ideas, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI love how this page turned out and clever to progress with it day by day - enough drying time for the layers and the page can tell you much better what is needed! A gorgeous outcome with the flowers and all the layers and dripping marks! It fits the October AJJ theme perfectly and it's much appreciated to see it at the link collection! Great to hear you feel better now and can be procuctive again. You seem to have had a bad cold Alison! Take good care of you furthermore to recover completely! Happy new week and thank you for supporting AJJ so well again!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, Susi

I am so glad you linked to AJJ Alison-thank you!! Yes, colds will zap the energy to do very much of anything. Hope you're feeling better. Your journal page is brilliant-all those yummy layers! And I really love the mica flakes added on! I keep forgetting about mine so I should leave some out on my table in front of me;)
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling a bit better and sending you wishes for a full recovery! Beautiful colours, those alcohol inks are so vibrant and I love how you combined them with the blue stenciling and flowers 😀. Take care and enjoy your week! J 😊 x
ReplyDeleteThat's great to see how the page progressed and what a super result too. I love a progress post, it makes the finished piece even more interesting.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed reading how you created this. Would never have thought to use the rub ons like this. What a great idea. Fabulous page Ali.
