JJJ - Days 19-21

 Hello All.

Here are a few more of my pages for Junk Journal January.

Day 19 - Scented. I went with the scent of coffee, and painted my whole page with some diluted coffee. I painted a coffee mug, added some stamped scallops and found book text, and finished with coffee splashes.

Day 20 - Simplicity. Kept this very simple with a bit of turquoise paint, a sketched and cut out flower, and a word.

Day 21 - Antique. I'm linking this collage of vintage ladies to Erika's Let's Face It theme at Art Journal Journey.

Thanks so much for visiting today.

Wishing you all a happy and creative weekend.

Alison

  4. A fantastic set of pages Alison, thanks for linking to Erikja's theme at AJJ. If I had to choose a favourite it would be the first one, I'm not a coffee drinker but the smell of it brewing and fresh baked bread would be tempting.
    Stay safe.

  6. I’ve been scrolling through and enjoying your daily journal pages. I’ve also noted and love your paint spattered page clamps! They’re stealing the show for me. Well, almost. They’re a fun addition to your journal page photos. I could suddenly smell the freshly baked bread and coffee!

  7. I can definitely smell the coffee and fresh baked bread. Wonderful page wit the coffee mug, too.

The sheet music and single flower were so perfect for the prompt, yet they really spoke to me.

I had a collage sheet at one time that had those hats on it, too. It was a long time ago and I forgot where I got them, but I sure like how yo9u used them on your page, I also like how you shared them with us at Art Journal Journey using Erika's theme, too, dear Alison.

  10. A fab variety today for our eye candy, Alison! Oh that coffee page is off the chart IMO. LOVE IT! I dearly love my coffee but it was causing me problems, doc told me to never drink on empty stomach. So I have my teas to begin with including a probiotic one. Eat breakfast. THEN I drink my coffee. And it is working! The other day saw an article in a medical pub that said they are recommending this same thing to everyone, so it must be good advice, I've tested it! hahaha Have a great week, xoxo
