Happy Friday Everyone!
Here's a page I made following Alena Hennessy's Lifebook Taster Session. I used acrylic inks for the background, and paint pens for the marks and writing. I'm linking this page to Chris' Hold The Line theme at Art Journal Journey.
I have a couple of other Lifebook pieces to share. This one was from Juno Biagioni's session, using a mono-printing technique.
And this one was from Dena Ann Adams session. A study of daisies.
Thanks so much for dropping by.

Wow, fantastic life book pages and paintings! I love the way the colours blended on the first one and the quote is so beautiful - breathtaking 😀. The portrait is amazing too, so pretty! Wishing you a Happy Friday and weekend Alison! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteYour art pieces are great, love the first one especially. I am still keeping up, just a couple of days now! Have a great weekend, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThese are all wonderful but that face is the best. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteThree beautiful projects really love the first one

Wow Alison, faces are one of your strong skills. This one is amazing. Your hold the lind piece is so happy and I love the blues. It is perfect for Chris' challenge so thanks for linking up and joining us. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThese are all simply wonderful. I haven't seen ANY of these yet. You can tell I'm really far behind.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the face and the daisies. I think I might be able to do that one, but not the other two. I can't do calligraphy and don't draw faces at all. You, on the other hand, have ROCKED these. I really like how you used Hennesey's guide to create a page that qualifies for Chris's theme at Art Journal Journey. Thank you SO much for that.
Beautiful art here Alison! I love the brightness shining through on your page - we are indeed trusting in God! Thank you so much for linking to my theme at AJJ. Your face looks amazing and well, what can I say, daisies, so lovely! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Hugs, Chris
ReplyDeleteAll of these are terrific, Alison. I like the lines of white leaves and the words. My favourite is the daisies page which I saw and loved on Insta and it's good to see it again.
