Hello Everyone.
I've had a wonderful month, hosting at Art Journal Journey with my Geometric Shapes Theme. Thank you to everyone for joining in with such wonderful and inspiring artwork. I have a final page to enter for my theme.
For this page, I began by using a palette knife to apply white gesso, then used the knife to add scribbles before it dried. Then I glued down some used and emptied round teabags in a circular shape, added some hand-cut dotty paper circles, and a heart cut from a gel plate print. I added doodles, scribbled outlines, scrapes of Seaglass Fresco Acrylic, and finished with some journaling.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to finish your lovely challenge Alison. Looking at it on the computer I see a very pleasing composition but I bet in real life there is a lot more to it than that. I am a texture fan and I love how you have used texture within this composition. I can just imagine the white Gesso and the scribbling in it alongside the teabags and the flakes.
