ICAD Week 4

 Hello Friends.

Today I have my Week 4 index card art from Daisy Yellow Art's ICAD Challenge to share with you.

Day 22 - Unexpected. 

I used only a tiny bit of collage and not my usual choice of colours, so it's unexpected from me.

Day 23 - Enchanted Forest

Day 24 - Bubble.

Day 25 - Dictionary.

Day 26 - Pinball. 

Decided to go abstract with this one, and hadn't intended it to look like a flag, as some people have thought!

Day 27 - Indigo.

Day 28 - Asanoha Pattern.

Attempted sketching freehand, not measuring the angles- 2nd time lucky (ish)!

 Hello All.

I'm catching up with sharing my collages for the 365 Somethings challenge, and I have two sets to show you today.

Somethings 172-175 

I wasn't thinking of patriotic colours and flags here, I just happened to have a red & white stripey paper bag that I thought contrasted well with the blue collage.

Somethings 176-179

I needed an image of an indigo plant for one of my ICADs, and used the leftovers of the print on these collages.

I hope that you've enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed creating them.

My collage fodder stash must be getting smaller, but I can't see it myself 😂 I really love the contrast of the brown corrugated card with those blues and greens 😍

 I have another set of small collages to share with you today, using some of my huge supply of collage fodder, one of my hand-carved stamps, and random book text. I added some gold paint for contrast. The stencilled texture paste was done on tissue for Catherine Rains' Collage Kickstart free class.

 Hello friends.

Today I'm catching up with sharing my week two index cards for Daisy Yellow Art's ICAD challenge.

Day 8 - Butterfly

Day 9 - Magenta or Fuchsia

Day 11 - Glyphs.

Day 12 - Moonlight.

Day 13 - Superstition.

Day 14 - Typewriter.

I'm enjoying the challenge of keeping to the prompts...so far. I used to really worry about drawing things like the typewriter, but not so much these days.

Before I go, as it's Father's Day, I have a card to share that I made for my lovely Dad.

It also happens to be my parents' 63rd wedding anniversary today, and here's the card I made for them.

The bases of my collages have all been from recycled materials, mostly cut up cereal boxes. 

I did enjoy adding some bubble wrap white gesso splodges to these ones :D
