Hi Everyone!
Here's a journal page for Valerie's Spring theme at Art Journal Journey.
I started with some collage of torn mono-prints, added the Dina Wakley tissue lady, then some black scribble writing up the side of her, and along the bottom of my page to ground her. I sketched the big flowers, and painted them with acrylics, added black acrylic finger prints, and finished with black and white paint splashes.
Thanks for dropping by,
Alison

This is a fun art journal page with the woman strolling through the giant flowers garden. The colors are marvelous.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful page! The collage backgroun is gorgeous and wouldn't it be lovely to walk through such big flowers - amazing 😀. I hope you're having a great week and enjoying the sunshine! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteI love the way you used black elements on this effective layout. There is wonderful tale feeling, Alison.
ReplyDeleteAlison this is so pretty. I love how you placed everything. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteOh this page is great Alison. It says spring with those pretty flowers and those colors in your background. I really like how you added the Dina Wakely tissue lady. Thanks for sharing with us at AJJ. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThose are some impressive flowers, Alison. Your background, although subtle, is powerful. And the addition of the lady and fingerprints in black are a striking contrast to the flowers and the background. A really striking journal page and a beautiful entry for Valerie's theme at Art Journal Journey.
ReplyDeleteFbulous page, sorry I am so late coming by, I'm trying to catch up. Thanks for linking to my challenge at AJJ, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI love your page Alison
ReplyDeleteHappy mid week
I think your lady must really be a fairy as she is so tiny and so protected from the elements with her little castle surrounding her. No need to worry though if it rains, she could shelter under one of those big beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteA funn page Alison.
Hugs, Neet xx
