Hello All.
Happy Valentine's Day!
I have another week of watercolour hearts on teabags to share with you today.
And it's also day 6 of February Journal Recipe, my Instagram collaboration with Shilpa.
We have some Valentine's Day prompts for you today...
Colour - Red
Shape - Heart
Product - Crayons
Technique - Stencils
You must use at least 3 prompts.
Here's my page ...
I used my gelli plate and a stencil to create the turquoise background, then used a red Portfolio oil pastel crayon through a Carabelle Studio hearts stencil, adding black pen outlines and scribbled writing. The Tim Holtz Paper Doll couple stand on some fabric collage fodder, with a Tim Holtz phrase sticker.
I'm linking my page to Elizabeth and Bleubeard's What's Your Style theme at Art Journal Journey.
Thanks for visiting,
Alison

I always love your teabag art and your hearts, all of which are different, yet tied together by the round tea bags. I like how these are a mix of colors. Some are colorful, then they become more muted as the week progresses. I also like that they are different shapes. That challenge was made for you, dear.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, those red hearts in your journal page are charming. I was struck by the design, but even more impressed because I haven't thought about oil pastels in months and months. Nice use of your supplies. Thank you so very much for sharing this with Bleubeard and me using our theme at Art Journal Journey.
