Hello Everyone.
I hope you're all having a lovely Sunday. I've just had a delicious lunch of fish and roast vegetables, cooked by my husband, whilst I was attending my church zoom service. I'm feeling very blessed 😊
It's Day 19, the penultimate day of my February Journal Recipe Instagram collaboration with my friend Shilpa, and here are today's prompts...
Colour - Orange
Shape - Blobs (Asymmetric round shapes)
Technique 1 - Cut colours from magazine pages and adhere
Technique 2 - Use a watercolour pencil or crayon (I used Stabilo Woodys)
I'm linking my page to Elizabeth & Bleubeard's What's Your Style theme at Art Journal Journey.
Thanks for visiting me today,
Alison
Thank you for sharing. Making art is a good thing in this strong time. Take care of you.
ReplyDeleteLove this. I too am lucky to have a hubby who cooks! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI like the colours and the way how you used the words 😍
ReplyDeleteFlying colors! I love that and the blue and orange are a winning combination :)
ReplyDeleteCool page, loving the colors. Stabilo Woodys have been on my Blick wishlist for ever but I've always resisted because they just seemed too expensive when I did not really know how to use. They look fab here tho. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love those blobs. Magazine images (calendar pages, too) are my lifeblood when I create art. I noticed you used one of your hand carved stamps, too. This was a really fun journal page today, Alison. Loved the splats, too. Thanks for sharing this with Bleubeard and me using our theme at Art Journal Journey.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful journal page love all the shades of blue

I love the idea of flying colors Alison. What a fun piece. I love the texture with that stamped image in the background too. Thanks for sharing at AJJ, and I hope you have a great start to the new week and end to February. hugs-Erika
