Hi Everyone!
It's Day 14 of my February Journal Recipe collaboration with Shilpa.
Here are today's prompts...
Colour - Silver
Shape - Flower
Technique 1 - Collage with tissue or teabag paper
Technique 2 - Add black or white dots
I used tissue, book page and teabag papers to collage, printed with a round plastic stitching aida and silver acrylic, added a couple of flowers that I drew with white pen on black card. I smeared some silver acrylic paint around the edges, added black paint pen dots, and some silver metal letters for the word. Those letters have been in my stash for a very long time! I knew they'd come in handy one day 😂
I'm linking my page to Elizabeth and Bleubeard's What's Your Style theme at Art Journal Journey. Collage with teabags etc is one of my favourite styles to use.
Thanks for visiting me today.
Alison

I love all the dots. And I think I have those same letters. They worked out great on your page. This is another fun assembly of items. Thanks for sharing over at Bleubeard's and Elizabeth's challenge. hugs-Erika

This is a great page, Alison. I love your beautiful drawn flowers in white on black paper. Hugs, my friend.
ReplyDeleteFabulous page! Loving those large gold letters and how you arranged them across the page and the layers and doodles complete your design beautifully 😁. I hope you're having a lovely week! Take care! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteYou are so cleaver with your art. Really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis is the secondtime I was here. This time it was a Firefox error, One more time because I refuse to give up.
ReplyDeleteCollage with teabag art always makes me think of you. I was surprised to see that you use teabags shaped other than those round ones, which I still can't find here. This is another incredible entry using Bleubeard's and my theme at Art Journal Journey, dear friend.
Another great page. I love the flowers you have hand drawn. The black dots made me think you had given them a shake and all the little seeds had showered out. A bit like poppies do.
ReplyDeleteLove it
Hugs, Neet xx
