Collage Wishes

Hi Everyone! It's been a while since I did a simple collage art journal page, so I found a few scraps in my paper scrap box, and put this one together for Eileen's Dreams/Wishes theme at Art Journal Journey.

I used Dina Wakley Media Scribble Sticks to draw circles and add watery splashes. You might just be able to spot part of the word Turquoise on the square of book page under the big circle. It was from The Turquoise by Anya Seton, and it inspired the colours I chose.

Have a happy one!

  2. Alison, thank you so much for your support of my Dreams and Wishes theme at Art Journal Journal. I'd have to look back at the other five to make sure, but I think this one is my favorite. I'm not sure if I inspired you with the theme or you inspired all the rest of us with your entries. Eileen xx

  3. Oh, Alison, I love this. It is brilliant. I adore the layers and layer and layers you overlapped in this journal entry. I also like how you incorporated a tag, too. This is a genuine beauty and perfect for Eileen's theme at Art Journal Journey. Your continued support of AJJ is greatly appreciated.

  9. You are a natural at putting pieces of collaging together Alison - I love this page. The splatters add so much to the overall effect - a really super duper page.

  10. So effective again with the layered book pages against the kraft. Love the splashes of turquoise too.
